A Songsalive! Program

Songcollab is a new program that offers inter-continental support and collaboration opportunities between songwriters of different nations.

Songsalive! continues to offer programs focused on songwriters and composers who tour overseas or wish to pursue their music careers abroad (we effectively become their “door stop to the world”), offering support, resources, contacts, music industry networking opportunities, performance and touring, co-writing, collaborations and learning workshops. This is done through key objectives under our program Songcollab as follows:

- Create space and opportunities for travelling songwriters and composers to write with writers of other nations  

Through:

• US/Europe based Songsalive! Songcamps (co-writing days or weekends) > more details (available to members and non-members) US/Europe based Songwriting Workshops (which also allow a supportive critique environment and guest speakers from the music industry) > more details (available to members and non-members)
  
• Individual co-writing sessions and meetings in the US/Europe we set up betwen songwriters of different nations. > contact us for more details (available to members only)

- Provide a platform for songwriters and composers of different nations to perform abroad for music industry representatives and the public, in a supportive environment.

We create these performance opportunities through our chapter showcases (we have 10 chapters across the USA, Canada and Europe), and music industry conferences (we partake in up to 8-10 conferences per year). Join us to get started

 

- Provide a global online presence for songwriters and composers of different nations through our website songsalive.org, whereby they can network and find collaborations with other songwriters and composers from other nations and with each other, in the International environment.

- Join us to get started

 

- Represent songwriters' and composers' songs from different nations to the broader International music industry and music conferences on their behalf where they would otherwise not have this opportunity in their own county.
